Need great camping equipment?

The website is up using Amazons astore and was simple to do!

Check out how it looks http://www.antshill.co.uk/Pages/Store.aspx !!

Amazon provides 3 possible ways to use the astore.

  1. Keeping as a simple link to my store as a standalone site. For example it would be the link they provide you e.g. http://astore.amazon.co.uk/wwwantshillco-21
  2. Embed my store using an inline frame.
  3. Embed my store using a frameset.

As a note you will always have number 1 as an option even if you choose 2 or 3.

I chose to embed my store using an inline frame simply because simply most people don't really use framesets anymore but use master pages, div/span tags and CSS to make up the site. Although iframe is not much better at least it doesn't continuously warn me that it is not supported.

My overall impression of using the astore is that it is simple to create and I am sure it will be a great addition to any site.

However, using the astore wizard, I would like to see more options on the layout. I think next time I use the amazon affiliate program I will be creating the site from the individual widgets simply to have more control.

I have yet to use the Product Advertising API that amazon promote but I am sure if I need more control over anything I can use this.
