How to make £1000's from Amazon Associates!!

Well, at least that is what I am trying to do.

I don't think there is an easier and cheaper way to do it than by using Amazon Associates.

It’s quite hard to make a lot of money by promoting a single product. But one of the advantages of the amazon associate program is the plethora of products for you to choose to promote. Anything you have ever seen on Amazon can be sold via your website. Another great thing about the store is that it's trustworthy since all transactions are handled by amazon.

So where does the money making part come in?
Easy you make between 4% - 10% on products that you sold through your website.

Seems too easy where is the hard work?
Generating traffic and marketing the website is where the work is at.

I am currently working on a project, it is for a medium sized popular caravan park in south Wales (Antshill - if your interested) and I think by adding an Amazon astore to the site they could really benefit from some extra revenue.

First step, create the astore! After signing up to Amazon Associates program. Amazon offer a lot of simple widgets ready to complement any website in advertising products. I chose to use the astore feature. Within a few minutes working through a wizard,  I had it all up and running selling camping equipment. Excellent!

Lets take a look at the site. If you are ever looking for great deals on camping equipment or barbecues in the Uk then go here :-) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/wwwantshillco-21

Ok it doesn't look the best but that is what you get from using an online wizard. However

This is as far as I have managed to get, not bad for an hours lunch break!

What next?

My next step is to take a look at the html code that was generated to create the store so when I integrate it into the Antshill website it'll look good. At a first glance this is going to be straight forward to do but nothing in life ever seems to be that way!

I'll keep you all informed on the progress of this project.
